EARTH is the first of Humanhood’s commissioned series exploring the elements present in nature.
EARTH draws from the fluid potency of this most grounded element in nature. Tethered to a powerful core, bodies flow and shift effortlessly in a mesmerising interplay of delicacy and dynamism. Created and Choreographed by Julia Robert and Rudi Cole, EARTH is performed by 7 dancers from T.H.E Dance Company in Singapore. The production of 30mins duration was premiered as part of M1 Contact Contemporary Dance Festival at Esplanade Theatres on the Bay (Singapore) on the 15th and 16th June 2018.
‘EARTH’ is a grounded work that leaves one quaking ever so slightly with the grace and precision with which this piece has been artfully choreographed.’Bakchormeeboy

The element of Earth
‘EARTH is an homage to the planet we live in, her processes, her cycles and the life she nurtures. The visible and the invisible, our physical and metaphysical connection with her. It is the first element with which we are connected from our feet/roots.’ - Julia Robert and Rudi Cole
